President Emmanuel Macron’s re-election pledge to reform France’s pension system by raising the retirement age and push for full employment will increase costs to businesses and could change companies’ cultures, suggest employment experts.

The French public is set to go to the polls in two rounds to elect a president next month. The first round of voting will be on 10 April and the second on 24 April. In a field of 12 candidates, most polls suggest President Macron will be re-elected for a second five-year term.
