More than 100 civil society groups and unions have criticised the UK government’s AI Summit as a “closed-door event” for Big Tech at the expense of workers’ voices.

In an open letter to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak the organisations warn that the “communities and workers most affected by AI have been marginalised by the Summit” while a select group of tech giants seek to shape rules on AI use.
