California could prove crucial in employers’ use of generative AI tools in HR processes stateside, according to a new law firm study of 400 US companies.

More than half of respondents (53%) to Littler’s new “AI in the Workplace Study Report” said they were concerned about measures likely to come out of the Golden State, with 33% raising similar concerns around New York City.
