In an example of the potential risks in deploying AI systems into HR processes, two former employees filed a lawsuit against IBM last week, accusing the tech giant of age discrimination – a claim that has plagued the company for several years.

The plaintiffs in the case are 66-year-old Patricia Onken and 62-year-old Pamela Wimbish, two senior HR professionals who were let go earlier this year.
