The British government’s latest plan to “curb abuse of the immigration system” could stop employers from hiring the skilled labour they need to grow, business immigration experts have warned.

“It is clear that net migration remains far too high,” said UK Home Secretary James Cleverly on Monday when announcing new measures that would see around 300,000 migrants who came to the UK for work last year now unable to do so.
