A pregnant worker who was forced to quit her job to seek emergency medical attention will receive $205,000 in settlement from her former employer, Walgreens, a federal agency has announced.

The US pharmacy and retail chain has also agreed to provide other relief to settle the pregnancy discrimination lawsuit filed in September 2022, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission confirmed this week.
