CVS Heath’s leadership has vowed to overhaul its whistleblowing procedures after firing a regional manager and several other employees, including executives, for not treating seriously harassment claims at a New Jersey store.
First reported by The Wall Street Journal, the retail pharmacy chain received an anonymous report in late 2021 alleging a store manager, who was responsible for hundreds of the company’s stores, had “harassed or inappropriately touched” at least two female employees.
