The government’s shelving of a new workers rights bill last week has confounded employment lawyers of all stripes. Practitioners will, nevertheless, be kept busy over the coming months following confirmation of plans to reform the UK’s General Data Protection Regime (UK GDPR), despite potential adverse consequences for businesses and employees.
