Following growing calls to regulate employers’ use of artificial intelligence, President Joe Biden issued an executive order this week introducing a slate of new policies aimed at bringing the emerging industry under tighter control.

“This landmark executive order is a testament of what we stand for: safety, security, trust, openness, American leadership, and the undeniable rights endowed by a creator that no creation can take away,” President Biden said at the order’s signing on Monday.
