Law firm Leigh Day has launched a group claim against takeaway delivery giant Just Eat and courier service Gophr on behalf of tens of thousands of allegedly misclassified UK couriers.

The legal action follows Leigh Day’s successful representation of Uber drivers before the UK Supreme Court in February 2021. The court ruled that the drivers were not self-employed contractors but “workers” and were given applicable employment rights.
