DoorDash’s rosy worker survey aims to head off legislative change in Canada

Nearly two-thirds of DoorDash food couriers in Canada would give up working for the food-delivery platform if they could no longer choose the days or times they worked, according to polling from the company.

The survey of more than 3,400 couriers from across Canada suggests a majority value their independence over full employment rights, and that 65% use the food delivery platform to supplement their full or part-time income.
