The Belgian parliament has approved an act amending discrimination and welfare laws (the Gender Act of 2007, the Discrimination (General) Act of 2007, the Racism and Xenophobia Act of 1981, and the Wellbeing Act of 1996).

The act, passed on 16 February, is a response to rulings by the Court of Justice (the Hakelbracht judgment in 2019), and by the Court of Cassation (20 January 2020, S190019F, and 15 June 2020, S190041N). It contains four major amendments.
