HR departments in Belgium will have to deal with increased administrative demands, as well as additional costs, after a package of labour reform measures was passed into law this week.

The reform measures, first announced in February, were approved by parliament in September and gazetted 10 November. The aim of the reforms is to provide employees with greater flexibility and improve their work-life balance.
