“Nightmare” labour reforms could create more red tape for Belgium’s employers
With the aim of giving employees more flexibility and a better work-life balance, the Belgium government has proposed a package of measures to reform the nation’s labour market. Although some employment experts see the measures as necessary, they also warn how the reforms could have some unintended consequences and may not be enough to achieve Brussels’ targets.
