To fight high youth unemployment in South Africa, President Cyril Ramaphosa has once again called on businesses to open their doors to new jobseekers.

Ramaphosa’s appeal to the private sector is intended to align with existing public-sector programmes targeting youth unemployment, which remove the requirement of work experience for certain entry-level jobs.
