New prohibitions on hiring temporary labour will come into force from 1 April – with major consequences for Norway’s staffing industry and businesses’ ability to legally purchase labour services.

Under the new rules, businesses will no longer be able to hire workers from staffing companies when the work is only of “temporary nature”, typically seasonal work or for other particular peaks in the workloads.
