A US appeals court on Tuesday rejected Starbucks’ challenge to a lower court ruling that it must rehire seven workers allegedly fired for supporting a store union drive.

The decision is the first from an appeals court to consider Starbucks’ alleged union-busting activities, which now includes more than 600 complaints filed with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) since a nationwide union drive began in late 2021.
