Mandatory lockdowns during the covid-19 pandemic meant hybrid working became the new normal for many employees. However, recent reports show employers across Australia are steadily requiring their workforces to increase their hours in the office (especially at senior management level), and in some cases are even considering paying remote workers less than "in-office" staff.
