After weeks of revolts and setbacks, the European lawmakers struck a new provisional deal on the Platform Work Directive after the latest round of negotiations between the EU Council and Parliament.

“After many hours of negotiations, I am glad to see that we reached a provisional agreement today [Thursday],” said Elisabetta Gualmini, the Italian MEP who led the talks.
