A recent decision from the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) indicates that foreign nationals working overseas for Australian employers may fall under the jurisdiction of local employment law.

The decision stems from the case of Gautam Parimoo, an Indian-born US citizen who was employed as Australian lithium developer Lake Resources’ chief operating officer in Argentina.
