In what may come as no surprise to HR and in-house counsel readers, almost one-in-four (23%) UK employers do not provide their new leaders with any learning and development (L&D) training, a new law firm report suggests.
Winckworth Sherwood’s poll of over 1,000 employees and 500 HR decision-makers found that even in organisations where some form of L&D is provided, more than two-in-three (69%) HR leaders believe the training is inadequate.
