A favourite holiday destination for many in Europe, Italy is set to become a popular destination for remote workers thanks to a new visa scheme.

Italy launched its new digital nomads visa earlier this month, two years after passing legislation that allows non-EU workers to carry out highly qualified work remotely. The visa is available to both self-employed and employed individuals.
