A Bengaluru court on 3 January ordered Indian IT outsourcer Wipro to enter arbitration over accusations that its former CFO violated a non-compete clause by joining competitor Cognizant.

In court papers filed last November, Wipro alleges that Jatin Dalal violated a contractual clause that restricts its executives from working for a list of ten competitors for 12 months after their exit. However, Cognizant announced that Dalal had joined as its new CFO a week after his last day at Wipro.
