The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) accused Elon Musk’s X, formerly Twitter, on Friday of violating a federal law that prohibits employers from punishing workers for communicating and organising with others over their working conditions.

While X has faced many lawsuits from former employees since Musk’s takeover in April 2022, this is the first time the NLRB itself has issued a formal complaint against the company.
