Elon Musk’s SpaceX is facing a federal lawsuit for allegedly discriminating against asylees and refugees in its hiring process, the US Justice Department has confirmed.

The lawsuit alleges that, from 2018 to 2022, SpaceX routinely discouraged asylees and refugees from applying for roles and refused to hire or consider them, because of their citizenship status, in violation of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).
