Workers at Tesla’s Brandenburg plant in Germany are joining the IG Metall union amid rising concerns surrounding health, safety, and overwork, it was announced on Monday.

The union claims that a lack of safety provisions was responsible for a high rate of accidents on the site, adding that it was not rare for 30% of workers to be signed off sick at the company.
