Just when it should be diversifying its leadership ranks, corporate America risks losing its black female talent through a failure to address microaggressions that undermine women leaders’ authority and stymie their career advancement.

Overworked, under-recognised, and lacking the support needed to climb the corporate ladder, black women leaders are leaving companies in unprecedented numbers, a new survey of female workers in more than 330 companies has revealed.
