Appeals court dismisses New York AG’s covid safety lawsuit against Amazon

A lawsuit accusing Amazon of failing to adequately protect thousands of New York City workers against covid-19 has been dismissed by the state’s appeals court.

State Attorney General Letitia James brought the legal action in February 2021 in response to what her office described as a “rollback” of “already inadequate public health measures” at the company’s JFK8 fulfilment warehouse in Staten Island and DBK1 delivery centre in Queens.
