New York’s attorney general is seeking a preliminary injunction in the state’s supreme court to force Amazon to address warehouses workers’ health and safety concerns as a new covid variant causes concern worldwide. 

The motion, filed on 30 November, requests the court appoint a monitor to oversee implementation of public health and safety measures at Amazon’s facility on Staten Island that employs more than 5,000 workers.
