Facebook has agreed to pay $14.25m to settle federal allegations it unlawfully favoured the recruitment of foreign employees over US workers.

The agreement, signed with the Department of Justice (DoJ), represents the largest financial settlement in the 35-year history of the Immigration and Nationality Act’s (INA) anti-discrimination clause.
