The following are key changes to labour and employment laws that took effect last December, or will take effect later this year.

Employee representation reformed

Since December, where there is no labour union comprised of a majority of employees, employee representatives for the Labour Management Council (LMC) must be elected via direct, secret, and anonymous ballots by a majority of the employees.
