Still fighting sympathy strikes in the Nordics, Tesla’s woes in Europe continue to grow after it was found to have violated German union election law last week.

The works council for the company’s Grünheide facility, which employs almost 12,000 workers, attempted to call a new election this month, with candidates expected to be put forward by 15 February. However, German metalworkers’ union IG Metall asked the labour court for an injunction to stop the election process.
