It has been 233 days since Russia invaded Ukraine. Russia’s advance, followed by Ukraine’s recent counterattack, has left tens of thousands of military personnel dead and wounded on both sides. Civilians have not gone unscathed from the carnage. Reports of Russian war crimes mount and Moscow has begun bombarding Ukraine’s major cities with missile attacks in retaliation for an alleged “terrorist act”.
