A Starbucks manager threatened to call the police if workers at a Colorado, Denver store discussed unionising, an administrative law judge found this week when ruling that the coffee giant had once again violated the National Labor Relations Act.
Judge Amita Baman Tracy found that Starbucks’ managers at the East Colfax “Barn” store had interrogated several workers about their support for a union and threatened them with loss of wage increases and promotions if they voted to unionise.
