A new review designed to boost the employment prospects of autistic people and help businesses reap the benefits of a neurodiverse workforce has been launched by the British government.
Fewer than three-in-ten autistic adults are in work, according to the Department for Work and Pensions. UK autism research and campaigning charity Autistica, which is assisting with the review, has called for a doubling of the employment rate for autistic people by 2030.
