McDonald’s has signed a legal agreement with the UK’s equality watchdog amid concerns about the handling of sexual harassment complaints made by staff.

The prevalence of sexual harassment within McDonald’s UK operations is unclear, but the Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union (BFAWU) alleged in 2019 that at least 1,000 women had been abused by predatory co-workers and bosses at the fast-food giant.
