A partner in several Key West labour-staffing companies was sentenced last week to more than 24 years in prison for tax, immigration, and money laundering crimes related to the operation of those businesses.

A federal jury in June found Mykhaylo Chugay guilty of money laundering conspiracy, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and conspiracy to harbour aliens and induce them to remain in the country.
