Leading Dutch lawyer Els de Wind has launched her own boutique practice after 25 years as a partner at PwC and Amsterdam-based Van Doorne.

In a statement, de Wind revealed that her tenure at Van Doorne had come to an end upon her reaching the independent Dutch firm’s mandatory retirement age.

De Wind has enjoyed an illustrious career to date. She began practising law at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in 1985 before moving to Clifford Chance in 1992.
