Reflecting significant changes in federal law and new working trends, America’s workplace civil rights watchdog has released new proposed enforcement guidance on workplace harassment for the first time in nearly 25 years.

While not be legally binding, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) draft document, “Proposed Enforcement Guidance on Harassment in the Workplace”, would be cited in court proceedings if finalised later this year.
