Dechert has announced its first black c-suite level professional in the role of its chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer.

Satra Sampson-Arokium has stepped into an expanded new role at the international firm after four years as its global director of diversity and inclusion (D&I).

Since joining the firm in 2017, Sampson-Arokium has worked closely with Dechert’s management committee and diversity and inclusion committee in setting and implementing the firm’s diversity and inclusion plans.
