Workers in Cyprus will benefit from a new law that sets out the procedure for agreeing remote working arrangements, protections against discrimination while working flexibly, and a right to disconnect from work.

Under the Remote Work Framework Regulation Law passed on 16 November, remote working arrangements must be agreed upon between the employer and the employee, either during hiring, through a modification of the employment contract, or by means of a collective agreement.
