The covid-19 pandemic threatens to set back progress toward inclusion of disabled workers in the workplace, the chair of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has warned.

In a statement to mark National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and the contributions made by persons with disabilities to US businesses, Charlotte A Burrows said employers should not leave disabled workers behind during the pandemic recovery.
