With the conflict between Israel and Hamas escalating, local and international employers are desperately trying to ensure the safety of their workers in the region.

On Saturday 7 October, Islamist militant group Hamas launched an attack by air, land, and sea on Israel. In the early hours of the morning, more than 2,000 rockets were fired over the border into Israel while Hamas fighters broke through and flew over fences surrounding Gaza or stormed Israeli beaches via motorboats.
