Drivers for ride-hailing app Bolt are to commence legal action seeking worker status in line with the UK Supreme Court’s Uber ruling earlier this year, a union has confirmed.

The App Drivers & Couriers Union (ADCU) is demanding Bolt respect February’s Supreme Court judgment and provide its workers with the minimum wage and paid annual leave. Claims for backdated unpaid holiday pay and minimum wage are also being sought.
