Australia unveils new guidelines to combat harassment and bias

The Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) issued new guidelines in August that aim to help employers comply with amendments to the Sex Discrimination Act.

Effective from December, the changes introduce a positive duty on businesses to take reasonable and proportionate measures to eliminate sex discrimination, sexual harassment, victimisation, and hostile working environments.
