Employers in Australia will have to step up their efforts to address violence and harassment at work as the country's prime minister pledges to implement International Labour Convention 190 and adopt a zero-tolerance approach to inappropriate behaviour in Australian workplaces.

Since taking office six months ago, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has made protection from workplace misconduct one of his top priorities.
