AI policies lacking in Irish firms despite legal risks, survey finds

Two-thirds (67%) of Irish businesses still have no AI policy, despite their obligation to comply with the new EU AI Act which came into force on 1 August, a new study has revealed.

The finding, published by Mason Hayes & Curran during a recent webinar on AI in the workplace, was part of the Irish law firm’s research on the legal risks of not complying with the new legislation.
