For many international employers and their workers around the world, the largely positive experience of remote working during the covid-19 pandemic could become part of the “new normal”. But as vaccination rates increase and economies begin to reopen, employers are having to reconcile ongoing remote-working arrangements with local laws and the practicalities of managing a workforce no longer under direct supervision.
