After a nine-year break, on 13 December 2023 Donald Tusk returned to office as prime minister of Poland. The election was won by Tusk’s Civic Platform, with the support of several factions, who had signed a coalition agreement on 10 November 2023, summarising the main plans of the ruling groupings’ programme. Some of them affect the areas of labour law and social security.
This article reviews the planned changes, especially as the coalition has announced that it would take immediate action to implement them.
