Following promising results, Unilever has announced it will continue with its four-day working week experiment in New Zealand and expand the trial to Australia.

Launched in December 2020, the New Zealand pilot programme has seen 80 employees work shortened weeks at full pay for 18 months. The trial was monitored by management experts at the University of Technology Sydney.
